Traveling by air is one of the most dreaded experiences that most of us have. It starts with arriving at the airport in plenty of time – adding an hour or two to your travel time. Then We are stuck in tiny seats on the plane for long periods of time and given a pretty terrible selection of drinks and snacks to choose from. - Drink Plenty of Water leading up to and during the flight! You want to keep yourself hydrated while flying to keep up your energy when you get to your destination. Pro tip – bring an empty water bottle with you through security and fill it up on the other side.
- Bring along your own food and snacks. Veggies are great for a trip – they pack well and provide some much-needed nutrition. Pack a sandwich or bigger snacks for flights lasting more than two hours.
- Get Up and Move on the Plane – You may very well be proud that you can make the whole trip without a bathroom break but you need to move! Take that trip to the bathroom and get some steps in – stretch a bit while you are at it.
- Bring Along Noise Cancelling Headphones – They are not cheap but a set of noise-canceling headphones will make you feel way better at the end of your trip. You may only want these if you are flying more than a handful of times throughout the year. Maybe it is a good item to put on your wish list though!
